TESTIMONIALS

When I purchased MY '69 Ranchero, I drove her for four years and decided I wanted her to handle like a new car and have the power of a old muscle car. I pulled the old 302 and C4 transmision out and started the project. I decided on new front floors, raising the rear floors 2 inches and full framing the vehicle, Not frame extension as you can see in my pictures.

I installed a new front custom fabricated cross member. It is 2x2" square tube from the front rails to the rear inside torque boxes with side supports.

This worked out very well. I cut the shock towers out and the cross member for the engine support and lower control arms. Installed a new center support for the lower control arms and the engine mounts. I custom fabricated the engine mounts so they could be removed if necessary. Then installed tubular control arms with coil over shocks and rack and pinion steering.  Next I installed a 1972 351C with aprox. 450 HP and a C6 Trans.

In the past years she was Black with the lower parts of the vehicle painted in purple.
In 2008 before the Adirondack Nationals, We decided to repaint the whole vehicle.
BACK IN BLACK !!!  The rear fenders were flared to accommodate the 9 inch rubber all around.
