SHE'S A 1955 FORD PICKUP. WE PULLED THE OLD CLUNKEN SMOKIN 390 OUT AND SET OUR COURSE. RICH SAID, "NEW ENGINE, NEW TRANS, AND I WANT NEW BRAKES WITH POWER STEERING". WE SAID, "NO PROBLEM". SO WE TOOK HER RIGHT DOWN TO THE FRAME. INSTALLED A NEW FRAME CROSS MEMBER, CLEANED HER UP AND PAINTED HER. A NEW DISC BRAKE CONVERSION KIT WAS INSTALLED. A 302 ENGINE THAT WILL BITE WAS ALSO INSTALLED, WHICH HAS A NICE CAM. A C6 AUTO TRANS WAS ALSO ADDED. WE CHANGED THE GEAR RATIO, INSTALLED A NEW A/C AND HEATER BOX. POWER STEERING WAS ADDED AND WE FABRICATED THE COLUMN TO FIT. OH WAIT!!!, HAD TO HAVE THAT EXHAUST WITH THE GLASS PACKS, HE SAID. OK RICH, WE'LL GIT'R DONE! NOW SHE'S CRUISIN!!!!

PHIL'S RIDE: 1969 GTO THIS GTO HAD OLD LEAKING LONG TUBE HEADERS. SO PHIL SAID, "GET THEM OUT"! WE PULLED THE OLD HEADERS AND EXHAUST OFF AND PURCHASED A PAIR OF ORIGINAL NEW RAM AIR EXHAUST MANIFOLDS. WE THEN SENT THEM OUT AND HAD THEM JET HOT COATED. THEY WERE BORED OUT TO RECEIVE 2.50" PIPE. NEXT WAS TO CUSTOM BEND A DUAL EXHAUST STAINLESS STEEL 2.50" SYSTEM WITH MAGNAFLOW STAINLESS STEEL MUFFLERS AND CUSTOM BEND 2.25" STAINLESS STEEL TAIL PIPES TO KEEP UP THE HEAD PRESURE, AND INSTALLED NEW STAINLESS STEEL TIPS. WE REMOVED ALL THE SUSPENSION AND INSTALLED A NEW PERFORMANCE KIT. NOW PHIL'S CRUSIN.
